Ok just a few days left to prepare for Harford/Cecil County Wee-cycle Mart Sale Sept 18-20th! There still is time to consign even if you have't started yet!
LAST DAY TO REGISTER AND PAY $5 REGISTRATION FEE IS TUESDAY Sept. 15th AT MIDNIGHT!
Last day to enter all your items in our on-line tagging systems is Wednesday night Sept. 16th at midnight! You may print tags after the system locks down but not edit or add to them!
We are excepting drop-off on Tuesday 5-8, Wed 10-8 and Thursday 10-2! You must sign up for a drop-off time after your register!
Here are some last minute tips for tagging!
- Be sure to check all your items for recalls! www.cpsc.gov This very important! Please take the time to check your items against the list! Many items that have been recalled have "fixes" for them that you can send away for. Then you can sell them at a future sale!
- Please make sure you have used WHITE CARDSTOCK(available at Walmart, Office Depot/Staples) not copy paper for your tags as it will NOT hold up! You can easily reprint your tags if necessary.
- Absolutely NO hand-writing on tags - the system reads the bar-code only.
- Please make sure your bar-code is NOT blurry or wiggly as the scanner will not be able to read It. Please reprint if necessary!
- Please make sure that you do not bringing OUT-DATED clothing or too worn or washed, (it doesn't sell) as well as absolutely no stains, rips and tears! My favorite tip is Oxiclean - gets almost all stains out! LOVE IT!
- Books are best if grouped with rubber bands or put in zip-lock baggies- please be careful with the tape on books - you want to use blue painters tape instead as to not ruin the books.
- Shoes - tie shoestrings together or put in zip lock and tape shut.
- Remember to check your car seat write the expiration date on the front in description.
- If you are going to "mark" your tags/hangers so that you can find them at the end of the sale easier, pleases do not put any RED or otherwise on the right bottom where the 1/2 price DOT would be as shoppers will think your items is 50% off even if it's not! This is very frustrating to the shopper as well as the cashier. Please, do not tie anything on hangers that might fall off- at the last sale someone put glitter pipe-cleaners on their hangers which fell off everywhere and we spent hours cleaning up! They will be rejected!
- Remember NO METAL hangers - hooks may be metal but hanger must be plastic.
- and Lastly, please make sure that all things that require batteries have them and you know how to turn it on for us!
